Description
The Working Group on Countering the Use of the Internet for Terrorist Purposes, which is one of the eight Working Groups of the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Implementation Task Force (CTITF) that aim to enhance coordination and coherence of the United Nations counter-terrorism efforts, has sought to establish what instruments (laws and conventions), programmes, resources, as well as technical means are used to counter the use of the Internet for terrorist purposes and identify areas where future engagement may be necessary.
